Daniel Seghers is the only documented scholar of Jan Brueghel The Older and created the genre of cartouche and flower garland painting. Daniel Seghers painted the splendid flower arrangement, for the cartouches he cooperated with other artists, primarily with Erasmus Quellinus The Younger, who was a pupil of Rubens.
