Damaged adhesive label with handwritten inscription "m 769 / mio" on the frame verso, below the same handwritten inscription on the frame cardboard. Watercolour and opaque paints auf parchment. 6 x 7.9 cm. Damage to frame (10 x 12 cm).
Der Porträttypus geht (abwandelnd) auf ein Gemälde des Georges Desmarées zurück. Dieses ist durch einen nach 1732 zu datierenden Kupferstich Johann Elias Nilsons überliefert.
Condition: minor paint losses spread across the entire painting. Stained outside the depiction (hidden by the frame). Gold painting of the frame is heavily damaged.
