German, 17th century
Silver. Hammered, chased and embossed decoration. Probably later used hallmarks of Augsburg, circa 1635, Johann Baptist Weinold, master 1628, died 1648, his widow continued to lead the workshop until 1660. (Seling 2007, hallmark number 460, makers mark number 1443). Austrian hallmarks 1806/07 and 1809/10 (R. 7876, 7884). 24.5 x 28.5 cm. 237 g.
