Provenance: according to the information given by the previous owner, former collection of the Princes of Wied, Monrepos Palace (from an ensemble of 12 table chairs) - 1979 sale from princely Wiedish private owner - Private owner, South Germany - Lempertz auction 17 May 2023, lot 401 - Private owner, South Germany.
