A WATER AND WINE SET
Augsburg, last quarter of the 17th century, Ludwig Schneider (small pot) and Paulus Grill (tray);
Silver, partly gilt. Hammered, engraved and hallmarked decoration: Holy monograms engraved in the well. Hallmarked (Seling 2007), hallmark 1150 and 880, makers mark number 1806 and 1488), L. Schneider, master circa 1684, died in 1729, and P. Grill master circa 1638, died in 1689. Assayers marks. Restored, new gold plated. Height 11.5 cm and 29 x 24 cm. 657 grams.
