Inscribed "G.MANSVETI" (G. Mansueti) and dated MDXII (1512) left on the side. Oil on canvas. 75 x 98.5 cm. Relined. Restored. Damage to frame (92 x 114.5 cm).
Provenance: according to oral tradition, the painting was a gift from Countess Ida von Fries (1811-1868) to her daughter. Ida was a daughter of Count Moritz Fries (1777-1826). Born in Vienna, he was a banker, industrialist and important art collector and patron. - Owned by South German nobility, since then.
