A grandfather clock
Royston, 18th century, Thomas Kefford
Walnut, veneered. Brass front with ornament applications, auxiliary dial and date window, silver dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, inscribed "Thomas Kefford, Royston", moon phase display in the arcus. Anchor suspension, pendulum, string tension with two weights, striking mechanism on bell. Restored, damaged. 240 x 52 x 27 cm.
