Six tinted and coloured etchings à la poupée. Labelled in the plates. Etching on vellum. Illustrations to François Levaillants Histoire naturelle des perroquets, Paris Levrault, Schoell & Cie, An IX-XII (1801-1805). Approximately 33 x 25 cm each. Partly damaged.

Printed by Langlois. Plates were dyed in several colours by hand and printed in one pass. After that, colour corrections were manually applied.
Together with: Le Promerops Promerup femelle No. 12. Coloured etching with hand paint in the style of Auguste, engraved by Guard et fils and printed by Millvoy. From François Levaillants Histoire naturelle des promérops et des guêpiers (et des couroucous et touracos, faisant suite à celle des oiseaux de paradis), Paris Levrault, 1807.
