A bronze with a black-brown patina 27 x 32 x 21 cm Verso signed and numbered with the foundry name "Susse fondeur Paris" on lower margin. Copy 6/8, 4 numbered first edition copies were also cast. On the underside is a typewritten label with the title and registration number of the Galéria Freites "Lob-B-8317" as well as a hand-written inscription "L-5115".
Catalogue raisonné: Muller, Joseph-Émile, Catalogue raisonné de loeuvre sculpté. Paris 1985, no. 542 (illustration of another copy). The work is registered in the Galería Freites and in the catalog raisonné under the number 8316. The label probably comes from the gallery Nathan, Zurich.Provenance: private collection, Southern Germany
