Rotterdam, 18th century, Cornelis Uyterweer
Walnut wood case with floral inserts in maple. Clock with brass front, partly engraved, with ornamental appliqué, ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, inscribed "Corneles Uyterweer Rotterdam". Anchor escapement, pendulum with suspension spring, string tension, two weights. 4/4 striking mechanism on two bells, Repeater. Crank. Restored, minor damage, additions. 242 x 54 x 30 cm. Provenance: Antiques Georg Dänzer, Munich - West German private collection.
