Handwritten attribution to "Kremser Schmidt" (= Martin Johann Schmidt, 1718 Grafenwörth - 1801 Stein an der Donau) on the frame verso. Oil auf metal (tinplate). 18.1 x 13.8 cm. Damage to frame (23 x 19.5 cm).
Condition: the edges of the metal plate are rounded. Paint loss to lower left edge, slight paint loss in the upper left edge (both covered by the frame). Rubbing to paint layer mainly to the lower margin. Varnish renewed. Minor retouches visible under UV light.The ornament that originally crowned the frame at the top centre has broken off. Drying cracks and minor paint loss on the frame.
