A SILVER FUSEE VERGE QUARTER REPEATING POCKET WATCH
Bourg, circa 1710, CASTEL
Silver, French import marks from 1893. Movement signed Castel, a Bourg. The dial has been restored by 30 and has some very fine cracks, the key is missing.
Diameter circa 6.3 cm. Circa 200.37 g.
White enamel dial with painted black Roman hour numerals, outer minute indications with Arabic five minute markers. Original gilded iron beetle and poker hands. Quarter repeating movement. Pierced and engraved balance bridge.
