A LADYS GOLD KEY WIND POCKET WATCH
France, circa 1760;
18K two-colour gold, makers marks, Paris hallmarks for later works (i.e. the case) from 1762-1768. The hands are original but not a pair, the enamel dial is in very good condition, the key is missing.
Diameter circa 3.2. Circa 29.99 g.
Case with raised central floral decoration and partially guillochéd. White enamel dial with painted black Roman hour numerals, outer minute indications with Arabic five minute markers. Gilt Louis-XVI hands. French fusee verge movement with pierced and engraved balance bridge.
