The Four Continents Worship the Name of Jesus
Ligated monogram "JGB", inscribed "Fulpmes in Stubeyer Tall" and dated 1747 at the bottom margin. Black chalk over grey pencil, pen in brown, heightened with white, on handmade paper. 49.8 x 33.9 cm. Traces of folding. Slightly creased, slightly stained. Minor damage to frame. Provenance: Julius Böhler, Munich, exhibition "Art works of the Baroque and Rococo 1630-1780".
