Brooch: 18K white gold, brooch pin: 14K white gold, both tested. 14 navette-cut diamonds, 10 step-cut diamonds, 24 trapeze-cut diamonds, altogether circa 12 carats. Diamond quality: W-TCR (H-I), SI-P1. 1 faceted oval-cut cornflower blue sapphire of circa 10 carats (calculated weight).
Circa 3.7 x 3.6 cm. Circa 29.66 g.
The contrast between the white of the diamonds and the bright blue of the this outstanding sapphire is particularly evident in this piece.
