HISTORIC BROOCH IN THE SHAPE OF A BOW WITH DIAMONDS AND NATURAL PEARLS
England, around 1890
Yellow gold 625/-, with a base layer of silver, tested. Ca. 62 old-cut diamonds, together ca. 1.12 ct., TCR-CR (I-J-K-L), VS-SI1-3. 2 drop-shaped natural pearls, D. ca. 4.7 x 4.9 mm, 5.1 x 4.7 mm, white-light-cream coloured and 1 tiny round natural pearl, D. ca. 2.2 mm, white. On the outside of the bow a diamond is missing. Ca. 4.4 g.
