Wool, silk. Shepherd resting under a tree in front of a peasants hut. Letter band: "Irus et est subito qui modo Croesus erat". Restored, damage due to age and light. 176 x 203 cm.
(Inventory?) number "4785" on the back.
Provenance: according to the information given by the previous owner from the Wilhelmsthal Castle near Kassel.
