A Scarab Necklace
Probably Egypt, antique and 19th century
Metal, partially gold plated. Necklace with 30 scarabs. 10 loose scarabs. Signs of wear consistent with age.
Length circa 60 cm.
Some of the scarabs are ancient Egyptian examples, but a number of pieces are 19th century replicas.
